The best months for striped marlin — large schools of 50–100 fish roam the Pacific side. Wahoo are aggressive. Ideal for winter travelers from the US.
Striped marlin linger through April. Blue marlin start appearing in May. Dorado numbers ramp up dramatically. One of the best all-around times to visit.
Non-stop dorado action (15–60 lbs). Yellowfin tuna are fat and plentiful. Blue marlin are active. Hot but incredibly productive.

Striped marlin peak December through April, with January–March being the absolute prime. Blue marlin are best June–November, peaking August–October. Black marlin run May–October. When to Target Yellowfin Tuna in Cabo
Yellowfin tuna run strong May through March, with the biggest "cows" (100–250 lbs) most common August–October. Schools of 40–80 lb fish are available almost year-round.
